Dive into the world of visual story telling through collage! Learn about collages rich history while playing with imagery, composition and color in this fun workshop.  Use our magazines and materials or feel free to bring your own inspired imagery.  Beginner and all experience levels welcome, supplies will be provided. 

Location
Canopy Studios is an art and wellness hub located in a heritage home at 1723 9th St SW, Calgary, in the Lower Mount Royal neighborhood. We aim to enhance, nurture, and improve individual and collective mental health and overall well-being through art as a wellness tool. Canopy Studios welcomes the art and wellness community to nurture their personal creativity and to share and explore creative offerings (classes, workshops, events).

Parking
Find free 2h parking on 18th or 19th ave SW or parkplus zones near 17th ave SW. No parking in side driveway or in front of building as it is permit only.

About the Facilitator

Maggie Cappelletti is an abstract expressionist painter, portrait artist, poet and teacher residing in Calgary Canada.  Her work is a visual diary of her life, inspired by memories, dreams, visions and the raw emotions sparked by love and loss.


Maggie earned her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  She has exhibited her visual work and performances internationally in Berlin-Germany, London-UK, Barga-Italy, Chicago-Illinois, Columbus-Ohio and Soon Calgary-Canada.
