Join us for a wintery afternoon reception as we celebrate the artwork of Deborah Millward. Her textile work entitled Dark Sky Country highlights her own personal experience as an immigrant to Alberta. This art exhibit brings to light our unique perspectives and interpretations of Alberta.
Canopy Studios Art and Wellness Director, Kim Webb hopes that the ‘Dark Sky Country’ art exhibit will start important, empathetic conversations between Albertans as we all have our own interpretations according to how long we have lived here and our unique backgrounds and experiences. It is important to capture unique stories and enhance understanding and empathy within our community.
