Join us as at Canopy Studios and learn the art of mixed media with abstract expressionist artist Maggie Cappelletti. In this workshop you will create a small art series on 3 canvases. Maggie will guide you through the process where you will learn composition, explore texture and play with line work and color. Beginners and all experience levels welcome, supplies will be provided.
Location
Canopy Studios is an art and wellness hub located in a heritage home at 1723 9th St SW, Calgary, in the Lower Mount Royal neighborhood. We aim to enhance, nurture, and improve individual and collective mental health and overall well-being through art as a wellness tool. Canopy Studios welcomes the art and wellness community to nurture their personal creativity and to share and explore creative offerings (classes, workshops, events).

About the Faciliatator
Maggie Cappelletti is an abstract expressionist painter, portrait artist, poet and teacher residing in Calgary Canada. Her work is a visual diary of her life, inspired by memories, dreams, visions and the raw emotions sparked by love and loss.
Maggie earned her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has exhibited her visual work and performances internationally in Berlin-Germany, London-UK, Barga-Italy, Chicago-Illinois, Columbus-Ohio and Soon Calgary-Canada.
